Executive Leadership Training that changes how you lead

"After twenty years running companies, I thought I knew how to lead. Twelve weeks with this programme showed me how much I was leaving on the table." — Former COO, FTSE 250 manufacturer, 2024 cohort

Small-cohort, facilitator-led programmes for directors and senior managers. We run four intakes per year, each capped at fourteen participants.

Four phases, twelve weeks, one measurable shift

Most leadership courses hand you a binder and wish you luck. We structure every week around a live business challenge you bring from your own organisation. Here is the sequence:

1. Diagnostic week

Before the cohort meets, each participant completes a 360-degree feedback cycle with eight direct reports, two peers, and their own board sponsor. We score across nineteen leadership behaviours and produce a personal baseline report. This takes roughly five working days.

2. Intensive residentials (weeks 2–3)

Two consecutive three-day residentials at our Larson-on-Boyer facility. Morning sessions focus on decision architecture: how you frame choices, weigh evidence, and communicate trade-offs. Afternoons are live simulations drawn from real M&A, restructuring, and crisis scenarios donated by alumni companies (anonymised, of course).

3. Applied fieldwork (weeks 4–10)

Back in your own organisation, you tackle a strategic project chosen during the residential. Each participant receives 90 minutes of one-to-one coaching per fortnight, plus a weekly peer-accountability call with two cohort members. We track progress against the baseline report metrics fortnightly.

4. Close-out and re-score (weeks 11–12)

The original 360-degree survey runs again. We compare scores, document behaviour shifts, and present findings to each participant's board sponsor. Average improvement across the 2023 and 2024 cohorts was 31% on the composite leadership-effectiveness index.

Choose the format that fits your calendar

We run three programme variants. All follow the same four-phase methodology; they differ in pace, cohort size, and price point.

Our flagship offering. Fourteen participants per cohort. Two three-day residentials in Wales, seven weeks of applied fieldwork, fortnightly coaching, and a full 360-degree re-score at close-out. Fee: £8,400 per participant, inclusive of accommodation and meals during residentials.

  • Next intake: September 2026
  • Application deadline: six weeks before start
  • Seniority requirement: director level or reporting to the board

Same methodology, faster cadence. One five-day residential replaces the two shorter ones. Fieldwork runs for four weeks with weekly coaching instead of fortnightly. Best suited for leaders between roles or on sabbatical. Cohort capped at ten. Fee: £6,900 per participant.

Designed for an intact leadership team within one organisation. We deliver the residentials at your premises or a venue of your choice. Cohort size: six to twenty. Fieldwork projects are coordinated so the team tackles a shared strategic priority rather than individual ones. Pricing is bespoke; contact us for a scoping conversation.

Open only to graduates of any cohort. Four half-day sessions per year, each exploring a single advanced topic: negotiation under uncertainty, board-level storytelling, cross-cultural leadership, or post-acquisition integration. Fee: £1,200 for the annual series, or £350 per individual session.

What the data says about our graduates

These figures come from the 360-degree re-score process across our 2022, 2023, and 2024 cohorts (168 participants total). We publish them because vague promises about "transformation" help no one.

The people in the room with you

Every facilitator has held a P&L-accountable role. We do not employ academics who have never fired anyone, missed a quarter, or sat through a hostile board meeting.

Before you apply

Who is this programme designed for?

Directors, VPs, managing directors, and senior managers who carry profit-and-loss or strategic accountability. We occasionally accept high-potential heads of function if their sponsor makes the case. The programme is not aimed at first-time managers or mid-level team leads.

How much time away from work does it require?

Six days for the residentials (two blocks of three days, spaced a week apart). During the seven-week fieldwork phase, expect roughly four hours per week for coaching calls, peer sessions, and reflection journaling. The fieldwork project itself should be something you would do anyway; we simply structure it.

Can my company sponsor multiple participants in one cohort?

Yes, up to three from the same organisation. Beyond that, we recommend the in-house team programme instead, because the cohort dynamic shifts when one company dominates the room.

What happens if I need to withdraw mid-programme?

Withdrawals before the first residential receive a full refund minus a £500 administration fee. After the residential begins, we offer a deferred place in the next available cohort at no extra charge. No cash refunds are issued after the programme starts.
